A valkyrie is basically a female figure who decides to go and dies in battle according to Norse mythology. Their armor helmet is usually made of leather and has the _wings_ on each side of the armor helmet going right side up. From among half of those who die in battle, the Valkyries bring those they choose to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled by the good Odin. The leather armor helmet is a perfect costume for any femme fatale attending a costume party looking for her next victim. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as daughters of royalty and at times accompanied by ravens or connected to swans or horses. These days, Valkyries have been the subject of works of art, musicals, video games, poetry and comic books. A great addition to this costume would be to have a Valkyrie name such as Alruna (_beer rune_). Important Features:
