The Spartan Army was the military force of Sparta, one of the leading city-states of ancient Greece. The Spartan Army was the centerpiece of the citizen_s life as their primary obligation was to be good soldiers. Being exposed to military drills and the round bronze shield soon after birth, the Spartans were one of the most feared military forces in the history of the world.
