An aged mirror that's a lovely piece of East. The Indian balcony or jharoka has been used for a long time in architecture of India and other near East countries for centuries. Used as for architectural decoration on a building, as well as other uses. One particular use is for modest women to be able to view what is happening out on the street without being seen, shielded by the overhanging shadow of the balcony. This jharoka inspired mirror is hand carved with traditional Indian decorations and symbolism into aged wood. From the spoked balcony arch over the center of the mirror, to the geometric patterning and carved pillars supporting the jharoka. Hang it at the end of the hallway or next to the front door. Use it anywhere your guests will enjoy the tastes of Indian culture.
